Slic Yung born Victor Frison is a Radio show host, Recording Artist, Published Author, and A&R from the Los Angeles area who began his musical career at the age of 14. “I was in talent shows in high school and started a local group. I’ve seen and been around hard workers my entire life, so my path was ultimately mapped out.” As his talent grow, the desire to pursue a musical career, Slic Yung released several solo projects which assisted him with performing at high profile venues such as Kintting Factory Hollywood, House of Blues Hollywood, and Grey Stone Hollywood. Yung was inspired by follow west coast hip-hop artists like Yo-Yo and Snoop Dogg, including east coast artists such as DMX, Run DMC, Rakim and Jay-Z.  

Yung has worked with major artist such Baby Bash, Wiz, Willy North Pole, Decadez, The Game, Wale, and Trae the Truth and his music has been featured in the LA Times. Yung continued to branch out with his successful The B-side Interview Show, giving independent artists, celebrities, authors, comedians, and entrepreneurs a platform to promote upcoming projects and introducing them to a much bigger audience. Yung has ghostwritten major hits for established indie artists, curated music, and developed the B-Side Interview Show into a syndication powerhouse and became an A&R for local labels in the Los Angeles area. 

With a need to add to his success and attract a new audience, Yung added published author to his resume and released two motivational books titled; Conquer the World Don’t Wait for Anyone to Conquer It for You and Let’s Conquer Mental Health. In 2023, Slic Yung and 87 Wavy Entertainment, LLC signed a joint deal with Moorish Media Entertainment and House of Bey, A Publishing and Production Company and is currently working on several joint projects.
